Hauora.com is a Maori health workforce development organisation. Established in 2001 by Maori health professional associations and providers, the mission is to grow the Maori health workforce, so that Maori comprise at least 15% of the total health workforce in Aotearoa/New Zealand. To that end, Hauora.com undertakes or facilitates, in conjunction with other like-minded organisations, a range of services, including strategic workforce planning, policy development and implementation, advocacy, customised mentoring, Maori targeted recruitment and retention programmes and shared management services. In addition, hauora.com are building an international one stop shop for indigenous health workforce research, resources and services and products.
